Schools & Education
Schools in Bexleyheath fall under the Bexley Local Education Authority and perform consistently well. There are several highly rated primary and secondary schools to choose from.
There are around 30 primaries across the region which serve the town, the majority of which have been inspected and reported as being “good” by Ofsted, such as Crook Log Primary School and Upland Primary School.
There are four secondary schools, namely Bexleyheath Academy, St Catherine’s Catholic School for Girls, St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School and Townley Grammar School. The latter having been awarded an “outstanding” following its last inspection.
Another secondary school in the area is Beths Grammar School. This secondary is boys only up until year 12 and has consistently received an “outstanding” from Ofsted year on year.
Property Prices in Bexleyheath
The property market in the area is very buoyant and homes sell quickly. With a population of around 22,000, Bexleyheath offers a diverse type of resident with a mixture of young growing families to people approaching retirement age.
