    St Mary’s CofE Primary School, Manorside Primary School and Brookland Infant & Nursery School are all “outstanding” schools says Ofsted.

    Well regarded secondaries include Hasmonean High School for Boys, Bishop Douglass School Finchley, and Christ’s College Finchley.

    Further education can be found at Woodhouse College. A single site state sixth form college in North Finchley.

    The main college in the borough is Barnet College, spread over five sites offering a huge range of courses for both 16–18-year-olds and also for adult learners.

    Things to do in Finchley

    Being a mainly residential area Finchley surprisingly provides ample opportunity for local people to enjoy outside space.

    Finchley Lido Leisure Centre is fun for all the family and all ages. Located in Great North Leisure Park in Barnet. Having invested £675,000, the centre has recently undergone a major refurbishment.

    For something, a little more relaxing, visit Stephens House & Gardens.     If money is no object, head to the N2 postcode district this is where the most expensive properties can be found. Prices range from £8,250,000 up to an unbelievable £23,000,000.
