The Old White Bear is a family run traditional village pub located about 4 miles from Keighley. Serving great locally sourced food which is cooked to order and excellent local ales from Naylors the brewery which is situated half a mile from the pub. It is the oldest building in the village Cross Hills and was built in 1735.

In its distant past the building has had a colorful history, it has been a hotel, a council meeting place a dance hall and even a brothel!! Interestingly, some of the beams used to build the pub are believed to come from a naval ship which took part in the battles against The Spanish Armada called “The Old White Bear” hence the name! With lovely log fires in the winter and a great outside area in the summer and a warm friendly atmosphere.
