Things to do in Leeds

Leeds Schools & Education
Leeds provides its residents with a good standard of education and choice via its 220 primary schools and 39 secondary schools.

The city area also boasts eight special or alternative schools, six colleges of further education, as well as Leeds University, Leeds Trinity University, and Leeds Becket University.
Leeds University is one of the top higher education institutions in the country and produces some of the most skilled academics in the world.
Leeds Beckett University has a very impressive sporting history to boast alongside its academic record – some of the country’s top athletes including rugby league star Kevin Sinfield and GB Olympic icon Jessica Ennis-Hill have studied at and worked with the university.

Leeds Property
Affordability is certainly a key word to describe the housing market in Leeds. The average house price in Leeds is currently a fraction over £220,000 with the average sale price currently at £212,000.
Both figures are well below the national average, meaning Leeds is certainly an affordable area to live.
Some neighbourhoods in Leeds have fared better than others when it comes to rising values. Homes in the Scarcroft, Seacroft and Whinmoor areas have seen property increase in value by as much as 40% over the past couple of years.
