There are also two state secondary schools serving the catchment area which include Brine Leas School whose motto is ‘Believe, Learn, Succeed’ and was rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted and Malbank School and Sixth Form College which was previously Nantwich and Acton Grammar School.
Reaseheath College also runs further education and higher education courses in conjunction with Harper Adams University and the University of Chester.

It is host to the International Cheese Awards, a prestigious event that celebrates the finest cheeses known to man. If you’re not a cheese fan there are plenty of other festival to enjoy throughout the year, such as the Food Festival, Blues and Jazz Festival and Acoustics Festival.
