    School provision is overseen by West Sussex County Council with a host of local state schools to choose from.

    Worthing has 22 state primary schools in total, with the Vale School and Westpark CofE both having received very good Ofsted reports following the last round of inspections.

    There are five state secondary schools, of which Durrington High School is the standout out choice, with high demand for places here.

    For private education provision there are two to choose from in Worthing; Lady of Sion School and Seadown School and both have very good track records.

    Northbrook College and Brighton University provide post 16 education and the latter has several campuses spread across the town.
